Lynch’s Holiday Party

Beginning in 1996 John and Linda joined forces with fellow teammate Hardy Nickerson to throw an annual holiday party to benefit the neediest Boys & Girls Club members in the Tampa Bay area. Now, John and Linda Lynch work diligently to continue the great tradition in the Denver area.

The John Lynch Foundation works closely with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver to identify 35 children that would most benefit from a night of Christmas spirit and cheer. Each chaperone provides the children's holiday wish lists to the John Lynch Foundation, which then makes the wishes come true.

The John Lynch Foundation hosts the children and their chaperones at the Denver Center for Performing Arts and all the guests enjoy a very special dinner with the Lynch Family. Then after a surprise visit from Santa, the children are presented with toys, bikes, clothes and shoes. At the end of the party, the entire group heads into the theater to see a special holiday performance.

The children who attend are selected because they would most likely not receive Christmas gifts otherwise and for most, this is their first time experiencing live theater.
