28th Annual Lynch’s Christmas Party presented by Gillette
This Holiday Season John and Linda hosted the 28th Annual Lynch’s Christmas Party presented by Gillette, benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs and TAPS military families. The event, which was held at Levi’s Stadium, was an opportunity to make the Holiday’s a little brighter for this very deserving group.
The group was welcomed by festive Christmas Carolers as they arrived and then they were treated to a delicious buffet. John and Linda welcomed everyone to join them in a Christmas Market as they handed out ‘golden tickets’ and bags to collect their goodies. The Market included various booths and activities including a Gillette station where the children received personalized toiletry bags and selected self care items, courtesy of Gillette and Procter & Gamble; an Adidas station where each child received a brand new pair of sneakers and athletic apparel; a Levi’s station where each child selected a beanie and then customized it with patches; a miniature Christmas tree decorating booth; a board game booth; and a station where the children wrote letters to active duty military personnel.
After the Christmas Market, the children were surprised by a visit from the big guy himself - Santa! Each child visited with Santa and received an autographed football from John before finding their gift bag, which was full of items selected from their individual wishlists secretly secured by the John Lynch Foundation.
The Lynch’s Christmas Party was started in Tampa, FL in 1996 when John teamed up with former Buccaneer teammate Hardy Nickerson to host Boys & Girls Clubs children at a Holiday party. Since then, more than 1,000 children and families have had their Holidays made brighter through this event.
